I'm wanting to try my first quad coil I've been building dual coils and been really enjoying the vaping:)

This is what I'm using :

-Style of mojo nucleus
0.25 kanathal wire
- the gentleman club mod
-3.7 volt 18650 batteries

The dual coil is running at 0.7 ohms
It's a very yellow glow when dry firing

So the quad coil would be around 0.35 ohms

Is this safe ? Or am I going to blow myself up ?

Appreciate your replys

your missing the most critical piece of information before we can determine whether your set up is safe or not

WHAT BRAND AND MODEL OF BATTERY

You really need to do your homework before messing about with sub ohm builds.

I will even spoon feed you before you have an accident

Google reveals this chart .... please use it

Cheers guys

There efest 3.7 v li-mn , 3100 mAh and 20 a

I might just practise my builds for a while then before I attempt it

Are these batteries safe ?

Many thanks

So the safe limit for a 20 amp battery is 0.25 ohms then ?

Like I say I'll keep practising for a while first ( a month or so )

But in theory it should be safe ?

personally id step up your batteries to sony vtc4.s or higher when sub ohm'ing , just to be safe

Yeah got a ohm reader it's 0.7 on dual coil which is 5 wraps on a micro coil each coil. it says 20A on the battery so that's 20 amps ? so that's 0.25 ohm max so if I put a extra wrap on my coils that would be about 0.5 ohms In total on a quad build

One may become good at not "needing" an ohms meter. But only after they have used the meter for a good while and have built many coils.
But any pro will still keep one on hand to at least check for shorting.
