Example: assuming, 3mm diameter and 1.5mm twist to the nichrome wires

the twisted 0.27 nichrome 6 wraps = 0.8 Ohms
the parallel 0.35 kanthal 7wraps = 0.65 Ohms
= 1.45 Ohms / 2 = 0.725 Ohms in total

The gauge of the wire, not the resistance. Its another way of saying the thickness. Wire comes in 20 gauge (thickest) to 22, 24, 26, and 28 gauge (thinnest) generally.

Is wire just told in terms of mm in the uk??

Nothing special from me today, just tinkering with the new gauges of wire I got today. Was planning on doing a parallel 22 & 26awg build but my post holes are too small

9 wraps of 22awg will have to do untill I get my Zenith

Hey, I don't even know how to build anything that ISNT sub ohm, so I can't even build. My most recent build may have caused permanent damage to my ecig.. Too much heat firing through the mod fucked my spring and now my firing button heats up enough to actually burn my finger no matter what build i put on it.
