I Demand Coil Porn!!!

This is one of mine. I called it the celtic coil :)
I have also done this in duel mode but had insufficient airflow so got far to hot lol

Funky looker, but on closer inspection it appeared to be a twisted+ parallel wind. I ceased using anything twisted as on my atty there was a really bad lag from hitting fire to vapour production, then another delay once releasing fire before it stopped.
My best vapour comes from parallel winds, though the hardest part is getting 4x 0.5mm through the post holes(Mephisto probably will do it):D

Or save yourself some money and drill those suckers out yourself!! I had my friend drill out the positive post on my igow6 back when i used that before I got my plume veil so much so that there was barely anything left on the post haha the holes im pretty sure were bigger than the mephesto

they all look nice and all that .but i think life is just too short ..and my patience is too for that matter simple coils for me lol

It is indeed twisted and parallel. I also tend not to use twisted but for this I used twisted 0.27 nichrome and then parallel 0.35 kanthal.
It fired up very quickly. When pulsing it you could see the twisted takes longer but the kanthal was instant which helped reduce the lag :)

I cant do measurements.. They do not compute :/ what's the gauge??
And Tutterz needs to make me a video for that damn coil [x
I'm running dual 5 wrap 22g kanthal

What's the gauge on what? the celtic one is a 13 wrap around a 2.5-3mm from the look of it, for a calculator you'd imagine it as two separate coils
the twisted 0.27 nichrome 6wraps
the parallel 0.35 kanthal 7wraps
get your resistance for each, add them together and divide by two.

Example: assuming, 3mm diameter and 1.5mm twist to the nichrome wires

the twisted 0.27 nichrome 6 wraps = 0.8 Ohms
the parallel 0.35 kanthal 7wraps = 0.65 Ohms
= 1.45 Ohms / 2 = 0.725 Ohms in total
