Is it possible to fry a novo tank on a vamo. Stuck the tank on, pressed the button and heard what can only be described as a frying sound. Now wont work. Any advice welcomed. Tried a CE5 on variable voltage and it worked a treat. Tank appears junked on a re try.

What voltage and what resistance nova mate?

Yep, you can fry one. Frying sound is usually burning juice though. What does the resistance measure at?
Anything can be killed if you put too much through it.

Just out the box and part of a kit. Didn't check pre button pressing. Must have been on default. I've now set it to variable voltage and 8 watts and appears good with a new CE5.

If it's just out of the box, you should look to change it to RMS mode which gives a more accurate output.

Right and if its 8 Watts, you aren't on Variable Voltage
