The Lost Mods

Hi people, for a long time I suffered from the inability to be happy with my own work, I was excessively critical. Nothing was ever good enough. Unfortunately this deprived me from the feeling of pride you should feel when accomplishing something, and I never shared what I made.

This attitude brought me no joy, and I'm working on it.

Sooooo, I thought now may be a good time to share some pictures of a few of my past creations. (There were many more!)

I am working on some new pieces, so if there is any interest after this post, I'll be sure to pop the progress of those up here too.


First up, a switchfet brass tubed squonker made from maple burl.

number 2 - my first attempt at making my own stabwood block, I wanted a side by side mod so made this. Uses a 18650 and yihi sx350 board.

The over engineered squonker. Seems a fair few pics are too large to upload, but there is 10000% more than I've uploaded in the past, so its a start!

This one took a fair bit of time to make, the squonk bottle slides into the rear tube, then would slide on the rails to attach to main body and lock in place with magnets, connecting the bottle to the squonk pin/510 in the process.
It required some pretty fine tolerances but it achieved what I wanted from it, easy refil and reload.
The 18650 would fit into the cavity of the mod exposed when you removed the bottle section.

We are a hard bunch to impress mate but they are beautiful mods you've made there so pat yourself on the back and try not be critical of yourself cos you done good, any more you've made id love to see
