Silica wick question

I use an S wick method on the Igo-L, & once coiled & in position I purposely frey the ends, my theory being bigger surface area = more juice held = better capillary action a bit like a lungs alveoli. But as I've said so many times in this forum Vaping is a personal thing & what works for one will be naff for others find what works best for you & use it.

I have that ecigwizard braid on an igo l. I fray the ends loads and use a very short wick. So much more vapour than a u wick for me. I don't think the braid is any better, just different
