Project therion

So i just started taking apart my therion which i shorted out.

Im sorry, i just like the case too much to bin it, so i figured id post the pics along the way.

I know the board may be screwed a little as vapesmarter has informed me, but first i am going to check these two wires for continuity since the main battery works, but the second battery doesnt read at all. Maybe the wire/solder just needs replaced.

There is no balance wire, so actually, except for soldering a circuit board (which is always the hardest part), the rest is just like 6 battery wires

And that is where i stop for now, since i still need a desk area (those r the screws and button parts in the pill box)

Thinking out loud, there is enough space to put some sort of small fuse here, i wonder if that is possible to prevent it shorting out.

Pos wires r fine
Neg wire from cell 1 to 2 is blown.

pop open the plastic thingamajig, replace the blue wire, done, and hope the thing doesnt blow up

Edit-did double check for a short, but its all good, neg blue wire has no continuity

Well, back to the box till i figure out where my soldering iron and some solder is, what i can steal a wire from, and i guess i am stuck fixing this in my lap watching tv *smh*

I think im just gonna buy a new soldering gun.

@vapesmarter can u recommend the best soldering gun to use for this stuff, wattage wise?

(As u said, i may have to replace the board as well, but this is my hobby mod now, it lives forever)

Btw, if anyone out there possibly reading this, i am still trying to source the panels that go here

I am trying to get the wodgrain one or the carbon fiber ones.

Someone in canada or america would be best, but i can arrange international shipping if necessary for an item like that.

If you can make me a wood grain or carbon fiber pair from scratch i can give u the exact LxWxH specs, etc.

Just putting it out there. I actually dont mind the stainless, plus it gives me a ledge to help grip it, but its also like driving a car with one hubcap missing

Edit- i guess if not my next project will involve wood working or maybe some nice acrylic and a dremel
