That first time vape on a mod you have built is like......a Hamlet moment. (Younger readers may have to Google this)

I've ordered the larger positive pin and a stainless washer for around the 510 on mine. Not so keen on the catch cup now.

I know what you mean matey I'm quite happy with it mine did take a fair bit of tweaking but turned out ok in the end , I quite like the contrast of the brass washer too
