Ok well where do i start on this one.
My boss asked me for some thing a bit different. He already has a squonker i made a few months ago.
Now he wants to try an R.D A. or a plane tank.
Ok i said.
So the wood is Ekky. Quite nice but stinks like cats pizz when you cut it.
The wood comes from Frias Cliff Prom. A contractor was using it to edge the promanade. (bad move) Get a splinter from this stuff and your going to go septic. But hey what do i know.
Does have a nice colour to it.

So cut to a basic shape and start drilling out.
Then to save a couple of hours sanding i discovered the delights of a stanley knife. Used it to wittle down the edges a bit.
Starting to take shape.
Have to use a 32 mm spade to take out some of the shape i'm after.
English Oak is being used for the top and bottom.
Marked out ready to drill.
I love my little drill.
