Butane Soldering Iron

Looking at picking up a Dremel butane powered soldering iron for general use and also for some stainless steel tube work.
Anyone used one of these,

I used to use one at work, but can't remember if it was a Dremel or not.

It worked really well, but I only used it for soldering wires to contacts.

Ive used cheap pen irons and the Blue Point YKs. To be honest both do as good of a job. The Dermal looks like a derivative of the YKs, so is sturdy and far more versatile than the cheaper irons. But its also much bigger and more cumbersome. So if space is an issue I'd look at smaller units.

I have the same sort of one at home a cheaper one..very easy to use just fill with lighter gas easy to light with built in spark..does the job well.

A couple of years using Weller P2C. https://solderingironguide.com/reviews/best-butane-soldering-iron/ Ignited with the first click, consumes a little gas, warming up instantly, also goes out quickly enough, blowing and extinguishing is not required.
