GSH2's causing throat issues? any comments

    Hi

Been selling these on ebay for a while now and recently one ebayer has complained about getting throat problems with these. They have been experiencing a very sore throat and also feeling groggy.

They been vaping for more than 6 months with different clearomizers and have had no problems. They have told me when they switched to a different clearomizer the symptoms went away and came back after trying the gsh2's again.

I have personally used these without any issues and none of my customers have before complained of anything like this.

Wondering if anyone else on here has experienced this?

Yes each device does vape differently, just a bit concerned that these could in any way be causing the issue, from what I gather pretty much all clearomizers are made from the same materials.

Spoke to my suppliers and the have not had any one mention anything remotely similar either

There could be a million and one reasons as to why it is happening. The coil may not be done correctly on this one, causing overheating which can cause irritation, the user is vaping high MG Nicotine or high PG.

Your best bet is to refer them here so that members can help them figure out what the issue is.

Off the top of my head... looks like they have plastic centre tubes? Maybe they're getting a bit hot if the user is chain vaping?

They also look like bottom coils. When I've tried bottom coil setups I've found them to be a bit leaky/gurgly. Possibly the user is getting a bit of unvapourised juice when they're taking a drag?

Other than that, only other things that springs to mind are they using the same liquid they were using in the other clearos? (perhaps if they also bought some new juice at the same time as the clearos, the juice might be the problem?) or are they using a reasonable wattage range? i.e. are they using like 1.8 ohm cartos at 5 volts and getting a hotter vape than they're used to.

As already said, could be anything.
If its same juice and same mod then my money goes on either dry hits or a hot leg on the coil shorting out.

As KMS said, send them here and we'll put them on the right road to buying something decent.

Heard good things about these tanks - they didn't really take my fancy, I think it's just because they look a bit plasticky and too much like the CE4 (just me being fussy).

Though I'm not expert on the electrics - even on a fixed voltage ego, some of my tanks vape smoother than others, presumably because of the resistance of the coil - and it can happen on identical models. I assume that mass-produced coils often don't match the advertised resistance (and some don't advertise the resistance at all). Those that I assume are vaping on the hot side will be much harsher and tend to dry & irritate the throat.

I'm pretty sensitive to throat hit anyway (don't really like anything harsher than 50/50 juice), so I'm assuming the coils with lower resistance are the ones irritating my throat a bit.

Once my itaste arrives, I'll test the shop-bought coils that vape best for me and aim to coil my own to the same resistance.
