Make your coil wraps/turns neatly spaced when recoiling

Try this if your coils are uneven...it works for me.

Say you're trying to achieve 5 coils but the first one is unevenly spaced...wrap six coils instead (the last five of which will be even) then unwrap the first one.

That's exactly what I do. Since I'm holding the wick, pin and wire I make the first one wonky then wrap the next 5 as neatly as I can and unwrap the first one. Works every time

Simple yet effective! I'll be sure to try that myself when I wire up some coils next time

I'm a clever git,I wrap my coils onto the former & then grab both ends with the pliers & simply pull hard. The result is the coils bunch closer together & then once mounted in the posts, fire up the battery & soon as I release the firing button, tweak the coils together with tweezers.

I'll try this though with my next coiling session, hopefully reduce the number of "coiling weapons" I need carry with me if out & about.

The counter is there to remind me

Thanks for the tip! I'm (currently) only rebuilding protank coils, I just place a pin under the wick and wrap around it

Bloody obvious when you think of it (which I didn't) so thanks for the tip
